We received an amazing email from Danielle Tiedeman, an Australian artist, and jumped at the chance to share her work (and mission) with you.
“Last October, at the tender age of 17, my little sister was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Since then she has fought hard and was told last Friday she is on the road to being cured after her results came back looking fantastic and that there are no more cancerous cells. I found it so hard to help her, but it occurred to me that organisations and charities can help. My mission was to use my skills of being ‘arty farty’ and make some cancer inspired lino cut prints where I can donate money raised to cancer charities. Last month I ran a fundraiser that the money raised from all items sold in my etsy shop would be donated to The Leukaemia Foundation. We raised $239 which was so exciting!!
My main goal is to get some exposure like any artist, but also to spread the word of fighting cancer!”
If you’d like to help Danielle raise more money, check out her shop: Danielle Tiedeman Art and Design.

I don’t know about you but I can’t help but feel energized and crazy fashionable when I see these glasses. And since I can’t wear them on my eyes without running into everything, I’m glad Rare Indeed, an Australian maker, created this necklace. Wouldn’t you love to wear this to your next party?
