Nothing says sunshine like a lovely lemon bar. So sweet and tart and all around sugary! I’ve never made them myself but thanks to this wonderful recipe by Epicurean Mom I think I’ll give them a try! I grew up with a chocoholic mother so if it didn’t have chocolate, it didn’t get made in our home. Haha. Time to catch up on all those non-chocolately goodies I missed, starting with some lemon bars.

These French macarons by Half Baked Tart are so pretty, I don’t see how I could ever eat them! Luckily she’s here in Australia so they’ll arrive fresher than flying all the way from Paris! Now the only trouble is picking a flavor! What’s your favorite?
